Bally’s interstate progressive wins first jackpot at $3.3 million
The famous producer of services and products for gambling entertainment, the company Scientific Games Corporation, was glad to announce about a $3.3 million jackpot won on February 20th in its Bally interstate wide-area progressive slot link.
The Massachusetts’ player, who prefers to keep his name in secret, hit $3,331,684.47 as a total jackpot in the Hot Shot Progressive® Video Slot at ARIA Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip in an hour at 1 cent stakes. In the Bally’s history, which includes 83 years, this is the third jackpot of such a great sum. Previously in 2009, an uncommonly large $3,683,932.96 jackpot was won at the Casino Royale in Las Vegas.
The win of such a great jackpot became possible after the Bally Company connected its Cash Connection link on August 20th, 2014, which is a multi-state link between the states of New Jersey and New Jersey. This gave a chance to increase the amount of the prize and provided the players and operators with more attractive sides of the gaming process. When the link was opened, the original jackpot comprised $2,206,417.70, and six months after this $3,331,684.47 was won.
The introduction of the link became possible after the regulations that allow to combine interstate jackpots were endorsed by gaming legislature of Nevada and New Jersey.
Dean Ehrlich, Sr. VP at Global Gaming Operations, remarked, “It’s great to give such a stirring jackpot to the winner, and it’s great that this occurred at ARIA Resort & Casino.”
