New Attempts of Providing Responsible Gaming in the UK
Online gaming can turn to a real addiction as more people every day enter the world of igaming and not all of them remember about the dangers it has and the limits to be controlled. Some legal actions should be undertaken by governments to help people remember about responsible gaming.
Authorities understand that online gaming establishments know the sense of the problem and are trying to help focusing the players on the limits in different ways. The growing popularity of online gambling requires some measures to mitigate the troubles it can cause, and assist the players who became addictive.
The new UK legislation ensures such famous gambling operators as Ladbrokes, Coral, Paddy Power and William Hill to continue providing people with the information as to responsible playing on TV and in online ads. This new campaign is offered by the Senet Group which is considered an independent organism, although it was set up by igaming brands. They proposed the slogan ‘When the fun stops, stop’ aiming to “remind about the potential risks and the advantages of controlling.” More than that, Gambleaware.com.ua will also be advertised more actively.
The chief executive officer of the Responsible Gambling Trust, Marc Etches, told that the Senet Group made the first efforts in promoting responsible betting and helping gamblers to control their game. This is a new attempt to launch responsible behavior from the side of British igaming providers. Members of The Senet Group also assented to stop advertising free registration and free bets on television until 9 p.m. and not to advertise slots in shop windows.
